Spantile II Ventilated Ceiling
The Vianen Spantile Ventilation Ceiling is suitable for all types of medium and heavy duty cooking equipment and is a flexible low maintenance solution for kitchen ventilation. The ceiling can be installed to cover the full area of the kitchen making it possible to be flexible in the layout in catering equipment and simplify addition of equipment.
Stainless steel filter cassettes in the ceiling have a high grease extraction efficiency and with a 500 mm width allows cleaning in commercial dishwashers.
The V-Spantile Ventilation Ceiling is an all in one solution which extracts and supplies air, integrates V-ITL light fittings and has an automatic wash down system
The VIANEN Spantile Ventilation System consists of three different Stainless steel cassettes type 304, 1 mm thick
The cassettes are fixed to aluminium anodised channels which are multi-purpose both as grease collection channels and suspension points. Stainless steel channels are fixed to the walls and are connected to a stainless steel control cabinet for the automatic wash down system.
The ionizing-collecting cells (contaminant collecting elements) are housed in the cabinet on slide rails. They can be removed from the cabinet as required, through the end access door, by sliding them out like drawers. On multi-cell units, all of the electrical connections between cells in a given tier are automatically made through spring plunger connectors. When installing the cells into the cabinet, observe the directional arrows on the cell end plates. The side of the cell containing the spiked ionizer blades must always be located on the air entering side. The spring plunger connectors, located on one end of each cell, will always face toward the access door on the Ionizer cabinet.
Both the air entering and air leaving side of the cabinet provide locations for filters as specified. These items act as trash screens, provide resistance for even air distribution, and help contain splash back from the integral water wash system.
The Power Supply(s) convert the single phase AC supply to the high voltage DC needed to power the ionizing-collecting cells. Potential of 12 KVDC are required for the ionizer sections and 6.0 KVDC for the collector sections of the cells.
The integral wash system consists of a series of spray nozzles assembly on water wash manifolds. The manifolds are located in the front or back or both front and back of each cell tier. A detergent system is also incorporated into the wash system. The amount of detergent used for washing is readily adjustable, and that amount is dependent upon the type and amount of collected contaminant.
